Our factories in Langeskov and Vejle offer shearing of sheets and plates. This process is well suited to cutting strips or trimming sheets and plates, but is also used for producing sheets and plates with cut-off corners or for sheet and plate formats which cannot be cut from coils rationally. Shearing is a process which is typically used before we begin working processes such as bending or other processing operations.
Large production runs are manufactured on our fully automatic shearing centre, on which different formats can be cut from a single sheet or plate in the same production process.
