Tube cutting

Ib Andresen Industri has extensive experience of tube cutting. We combine our know-how with the very latest technology to ensure high precision. We can cut round, square, rectangular or oval tubes. We can also cut other open and closed profile types to your specifications.
 
In connection with tube cutting, we offer traditional processes such as sawing, drilling, milling and bevel cutting (sharpening for a subsequent welding process) in a single operation. This minimises throughput time and gives greater precision in the finished product. The finished tubes are typically used for bus shelters, advertising columns, building structures, shop fittings, trailers and home and office fittings.

We offer both plasma cutting and laser cutting of tubes:

Plasma cutting can be used for all types of tubes and profiles. Using plasma cutting, we can handle components for tube and profile cutting with an output length of up to 10,000 mm and a diameter of 600 mm together with a weight of 500 kg or possibly more if necessary.
 
Laser cutting is ideal for all forms of closed tubes. With laser cutting, we can handle components with an output length of up to 6,500 mm, a diameter of 153 mm and a weight of up to 120 kg.
