Ib Andresen Industri was founded in 1967 by civil engineer Ib Andresen, who is also the company's managing director today. The company is still a family-owned, independent business. The company's head office is situated in Langeskov and the company also has production and warehousing facilities in Vejle, and Nyborg in Denmark, in Györ, Hungary, and in Laem Chabang just outside Bangkok in Thailand.
The company has a total of approximately 100,000 m² of covered factory premises. On these premises, about 550 staff process steel from steelworks across most of Europe. The company employs almost 100 highly specialised engineers. Ib Andresen Industri has an annual turnover of in excess of DKK 800 million and handles over half a million tonnes of steel annually.
