At Ib Andresen Industri, quality assurance is an integral part of the entire organisation. Each division has its own Quality Assurance Manager and the overall effort is co-ordinated through the company's Quality Assurance Group. The aim is to ensure that we provide services of the highest quality at all times, so ensuring that our customers' needs and requirements are always met, and so that we are always perceived to be a supplier of quality – in accordance with our quality assurance policy.
The company is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. This ensures that our quality assurance work is systematised, so that we:
Define and pursue quality targets,
Improve our procedures and minimise errors,
Develop competencies and employee satisfaction,
Increase customer dialogue and satisfaction,
Improve the quality of our external suppliers,
Invest in new technology to increase quality and competitiveness.
An example of a quality target we have defined and achieved is our aim to ensure that no delivery from the Steel Service Center takes more than one week and that deliveries are preferably handled within a few hours. The commitment of our staff to fulfilling our quality targets is ensured through bonus schemes.
